A Peace Gathering in India
December 2008

The Theosophical Order of Service was founded in 1908 by Dr Annie Besant to carry out philanthropic activities. The same year Dr Herbert Whyte founded the Order of the Round Table to instill values like kindness, helpfulness, courageousness and righteousness among young people. Both organisations are in the centenary year of their foundation.

Both these organisations held a peace gathering to send loving thoughts to the victims of the Mumbai terror attacks of November 2008.
