The TOS at the TS World Congress in Rome

We are happy to let you know that a TOS panel is included in the programme of this event.  The overall theme of the Congress is “Universal brotherhood without distinctions: a road to awareness”. The theme of the TOS panel will be “Service as a road to awareness”.  The speakers will be the Chairperson of the TOS in the Philippines, Vicente Hao Chin, Jr, the President of the TOS in the USA, Tim Boyd and the International Secretary of the TOS, Diana Dunningham Chapotin.

In our last newsletter, we brought you information on a new book, The World Around Us, by the International President of the TS and TOS, Radha Burnier, of particular interest to us because several sections focus on such TOS themes as brotherhood, ethics, morality, rights and responsibilities, women, inhumanity and violence, and nature.  The good news is that the book will be available for sale at the TS World Congress in Rome in mid-July.  

Bring extra coins also for a table of sale items being enthusiastically prepared by the Italian Section to raise funds for a project of the TOS in Chennai, ‘Seeing Eyes for Everyone’ (SEE).  The TOS is excited about this sale and grateful to the members in Italy for all their handiwork. We also thank the Italian Section for the display space being set up at the congress hotel for posters showing the work of the TOS and the Olcott Education Society. ….
